Dear Family and Friends of PDMSS,

What a day! Thank you so much to all the parent volunteers who helped make our annual Fall Festivities a huge hit! Your enthusiasm and sense of fun made today’s events memorable for all our students.

As you busily prepare for a night of trick or treating, please remember to change your clocks back one hour when you return from Halloween night festivities.

Have a safe and sane Halloween weekend. We will see everyone back on Monday, at 8:25 for morning assembly. Please remember that our school and district has a wellness policy. This means keep the candy at home! If you wish to donate your collected candy to local shelters, we will have a box in the office on Monday and Tuesday next week.

Warmest regards,

Chi Kim, Principal

Only 82 more families to go and we will reach our goal of 100% participation in our Direct Investment Campaign.  We need you!  We still need to fund field trips, art supplies, livestock and equipment for the marine science lab, assemblies, paper for the copiers, toner, and much more.  Allow us to fully fund all of our programs for our students by contributing what your family can afford to enrich the lives of our students.  100% of your donation is 100% tax - deductible.

100% is our goal

Westside Food Bank’s 19th Annual Hunger Walk!

Westside Food Bank invites students and their families to join us for our 19th
annual Hunger Walk.  This free event is the kickoff to our holiday food drive and
helps to raise awareness about the issue of local hunger.  Since nearly half of
Westside Food Bank’s food goes to local children in need, we want students to
learn more about the issue of hunger and enjoy a fun filled day of entertainment,
education, raffle prizes, games, snacks and of course, exercise!
